POTOMAC Line Splits

Option Football out of the Pistol like Coach Pratley's POTOMAC. What Are my line splts?

We are at 2 foot this year. Last year we were known for having splits as wide as 4 or 5 foot.

I told the kids, if the defender went with them, to keep widening out and making our running lanes bigger.

This year we are going to more of a Zone scheme and will need them to be at 2 foot.

We also run some option out of the Pistol Spread, but with the 20 (left or Right Slot) our line splits are about 30-40 cm and he had some trouble with LB's reading to quick and then come trough the line. Anyone can feel the same?

We will stick with it anyway, because the passing game is much easier because almost every DE will widen out with the OT :P
